Unplug and Play, but Why and How?

This class will explore some of the presumed benefits of television use for young children, the childhood developmental issues associated with television, and manageable alternatives to television use. We will share some interesting statistics and information, but spend a significant amount of time on other options for those times when we need to ensure the children are safe and engaged while we, as providers, are busy preparing meals, cleaning up or otherwise less available.
