Affiliates

Child Care Resources affiliates with many other organizations in Montana and nationwide that deal with the early childhood industry and nonprofit organizations. Here are some of the groups we are a member of:

Eat Right Montana

Child Care Resources is a member of Eat Right Montana, a coalition of a diverse group of individuals and organizations who have come together with the common goal of providing consistent, science-based nutrition and physical activity messages to all Montanans.

Missoula Chamber of Commerce

CCR is a member of the Missoula Chamber of Commerce whose mission is to provide community leadership and business advocacy while sustaining economic vitality.

Missoula Forum for Children and Youth

The Missoula Forum for Children and Youth is an alliance of prevention coalitions, agencies, and individuals united by a common mission to build and maintain a supportive environment for collaborative and proactive work to help Missoula prevent substance abuse and other problem behaviors and grow healthy and resilient children and youth.

Missoula Housing Authority Family Sufficiency Advisory Board

This is a volunteer advisory group that works with Missoula Housing Authority to network agency services throughout the Missoula community helping low income individuals and families. Heather Daniel, Eligibility Specialist Supervisor, represents CCR in this group.

Missoula/Mineral County Workforce Development Council

This group works to bring together workforce and related services in Missoula County and surrounding areas. The goal is to build on the close relationships in our community by further enhancing collaboration, increasing staff training efforts and enhancing relationships and collocation opportunities to build additional bridges to the business community, and thereby support workforce and economic development. Michelle Parks, Operations Manager, represents CCR on this council.

Montana Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) Sponsors’ Network

This network is the state professional agency for CACFP Sponsors. CCR’s CACFP Coordinator, Judy Kendall, represents this group on the Montana Early Childhood Advisory Council, which is the Governor’s appointed council to advise the state on early childhood issues.

Montana Child Care Resource & Referral Network

The Montana Child Care Resource & Referral Network is the professional trade association for CCR&R agencies in the state. CCR’s Executive Director, Kelly Rosenleaf, represents this group on Montana Advocates for Children (MAC) which is a coalition of entities that develops a legislative agenda and works collaboratively on policy issues.

Montana Nonprofit Association (NPA)

The Montana Nonprofit Association is a membership organization that promotes a stronger nonprofit sector in Montana through public policy, affordable products and services, organizational development, research and information sharing, and network building.

National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC)

NAFCC is a professional trade association for family child care businesses. Family and group home child cares are nationally accredited by the NAFCC.

National Association of Child Care Resource & Referral Agencies (NACCRRA)

NACCRRA is the national trade association for CCR&R agencies. Executive Director, Kelly Rosenleaf, represents Montana on the State Council of this group.

Ravalli County Bitterroot Workforce Community Management Team

This group works to bring together workforce and related services in Ravalli County. It is the goal to build on the close relationships in the Ravalli community by further enhancing collaboration, increasing staff training efforts and enhancing relationships and collocation opportunities to build additional bridges to the business community and thereby support workforce and economic development.
